Railsponsible’s second Annual Report published AR_Cover

With the beginning of this week, Railsponsible second Annual Report is available, covering the period May 2016 to April 2017.

This year’s the report is introduced by a message of the chairman for the 2016-17 period, Oliver Baril (Alstom) and the newly elected Uwe Günther (Deutsche Bahn) for 2017-18 summarizing areas where members are currently working on but also presenting their take on the priorities for the months ahead.

Other topics in the report include the key results and insights from the ongoing supplier assessment campaign for which more than 550 companies in the rail supply chain have been scored, where again results are showing a very satisfying level of CSR performance. With regards to its strategic activities, Railsponsible has been focusing on pushing forward the 2020 Strategy’s sustainability workstreams, i.e. empower staff, build common programs and Railsponsible lobbying.

In the report you will also find detailed explanations around Railsponsible’s new membership model, allowing companies to participate in the initiative regardless of their supplier assessment system.
